| STATS
Each character has a set of 6 stats:
Strength Durability Energy Stamina Ki Speed
Each one helps you in battle, and possibly even other things as well!
There are 3 kinds of attacks for this system: 1. Physical 2. Energy 3. Supplemental
However, only the first two deal any damage, and they are dealt differently.
PHYSICAL ATTACKS(Basic):
HA! HO! HA! Nothing like punching your foes, eh? Well, you do not have to learn a special technique to pound a fist into your enemies, so this is what I have come up with for dealing with basic attacks. use this chart to find out what to do:
Punches -- 1/4 of your current Strength converted into Damage Kicks -- 1/3 of your current Strength converted into Damage Hard Blows(Elbows, Knees, slams, etc.) -- 1/2 of your Strength converted into damage
I probably made it sound complicated, so here's an example.
My character has a strength stat of 100. If he punches, he deals 25 damage. If he kicks, he deal 34 damage If he uses a Hard Blow, he deal 50 Damage.
*Hard Blows can only be used once per turn *If the number of damage you deal is in the decimals, round it up(So 1.5 = 2, etc.)
PHYSICAL ATTACKS(Technique):
Now, some techniques are physical attacks, and are done very simply.
Look at it's base damage, and add 1/2 of your strength to it(Rounded up). Done! Example:
Base damage: 20 Strength: 200
Damage = 220
Easy, huh? However, each technique costs Ki, make sure you have enough to spare!
ENERGY BASED ATTACKS(Basic):
Lets say you want to throw a regular old Ki blast(no technique needed!)
Then just do it almost JUST like physical attacks:
Small Blasts -- 1/6 of your current Energy converted into Damage -- -10 Ki Medium Blasts -- 1/4 of your current Energy converted into Damage -- -25 Ki Large Blasts -- 1/2 of your current Energy converted into damage -- -50 Ki
Easy as can be! However, each one also drains your Ki-stat! Be careful about your moves! Example: I have a Ki stat of 200 If I fire 3 Medium Blasts, I now have: 125
*Large Blasts can only be used once per turn, and no more ki-based attacks can be used *If the number of damage you deal is in the decimals, round it up(So 1.5 = 2, etc.)
ENERGY BASED ATTACKS(Technique):
EXACTLY like Physical attacks, except with the energy stat.(still drains Ki)
YOUR STAMINA/KI
After the battle, your stamina/Ki DO NOT "regenerate"
You must pay Zenni to the hospital to heal your wounds, or use items/techniques you may have to heal yourself. If your stamina reaches 0, you are DEAD. If it reaches at or below 1/4 of what it should be, you are INCAPACITATED and CANNOT battle UNLESS forced into one.
Receiving Damage: Ouch! The punch hurt! And it takes away part of your stamina! Then you have to edit your Fighter Bio with how much damage(stamina decrease) you've taken.
*If you God-Mod this ability then your permissions will be locked and an admin will have to "hold your hand" as you take damage and gain stamina. Embarrassing, huh?*

| USING SPEED TO YOUR ADVANTAGE:
Dodging:
You know you want to do it sometime, narrowly dodge a punch, fly-by a beam. But to avoid God-modding, I've come up with a very interesting way to dodge oncoming attacks-if you can. You may ONLY dodge if:
your speed stat is higher than the speed of the attack against you.
EXAMPLE: Your speed: 100 Punch speed: 75 You may dodge! Yay!
Different Example: Your Speed: 100 Knee Speed: 125 No dodge!
Attacking:
Want to make your attack un-dodgable? Me to! So, take 1/2 of your speed and add it to the base-speed of your attack, and if it's higher than your opponent's speed stat, they can't dodge!
Not using a technique? No problem! look here:
Level 1 basic attack(Punch, Small Blast) 1/8 your speed stat Level 2 basic attack(Kick, Medium Blast) 1/6 your speed stat Level 3 basic attack(Knee, elbow, etc./Large Blast) 1/4 your speed stat
*NOTE: You do NOT HAVE TO USE ATTACK SPEED IN A BATTLE! You may talk to your opponent(s) and if they all decide that they would not like to have the speed-rule, they do not need one. You may still dodge, but your speed stat needs to be higher than your opponents and you may only dodge twice in a row. That is all!*

| BLOCKING/YOU AND YOUR DURABILITY:
You can't always rely on your speed to deal with every attack. Sometimes you just gotta block. Blocking is also fairly easy, just do this:
Whatever damage you'd be taking - 1/2 your Durability = your resulting damage
EXAMPLE:
Kamehameha damage = 200 Your Durability = 100 damage you take = 150
Ouch! But hey, it's better than taking the full on blow!
There are some rules to blocking though:
1. High damages
If you block and still take 400+ damage, your guard is broken and you cannot block next turn
2. Multi-blocks
You cannot block more than one attack at a time, and you cannot block any more than 3 times in a row. You must dodge or take the hit the 4th time.
3. Negatives
Lets say you are so powerful you take negative damage! Example:
Durability: 200 Amount Blocked With: 100 Punch damage: 50 You take: -50
YOUR OPPONENT takes the DIFFERENCE for their attack back-fired! Heh, who said it never pays off to train your muscles? *doesn't work for energy-based attacks, only physical, energy based simply does no damage*
4. Weapons You can't block a weapon without another weapon unless: Your defense is more than double your opponent's attack damage.
5. Negatives(Weapons) If you block a weapon and somehow get a NEGATIVE, then that weapon has just BROKEN! Bravo, Mr. Iron-guns!

| POWER-LEVELS:
All of your stats combined equal your power-level. So:
Speed = 100 Strength = 100 Durability = 100 Stamina = 500* Ki = 300* Energy = 100
Power-Level = 1200 *NOTE: Even if you have used Ki and taken damage, your powerlevel counts them both as FULL*
Power-levels can be used for a lot of things, using techniques, buying things, quests. But it's most flexible use: Clashes.
Beam clashes, to be precise.
BEAM CLASHES:
KAMEHAMEHA! GALLICK GUN! BubooM! Who comes out on top? Who gets blown away? The answer is simple: Whomever has the highest Power-level. Here's how it goes down:
Saiyan A fires a beam at Saiyan B, who counters with another.
Saiyan A's Beam: 100 Damage Saiyan B's Beam: 200 Damage
Saiyan A's Power-Level: 1500 Saiyan B's Power-Level: 1200
Saiyan B's beam is over-powered, and he gets blasted with BOTH beams, + the DIFFERENCE in power. So he takes: 100 + 200 + 300 = 600 Damage. Ouch!
But, the tides can easily change. If Saiyan B uses his transfromation, his power-level becomes 2000! And thus Saiyan A takes the brunt of the damage. | |
