Basic Battle Example

This thread is an example battle on this site, since it seems like a lot of members needs one.

This is the first post of the battle, which describes everything:

Bob the Saiyan landed in the hot desert, the ground was cracked and dry, and the mid-day sun was blazing the landscape in a steaming bath of sunlight. Bob could barely stand the heat, but he never backed down from a challenge, which is what is presented in front of him. Snickering Bob folded his arm and nonchalantly talked to his adversary.

"Heh, good luck to you! Your gonna need it."

Bob got into a battle stance very quickly, and the air thickened as the cawing of buzzards flying above them filled their ears. They where going to get their fill tonight, but who was it going to be? Maybe the desert heat would claim both of them, Bob wouldn't be surprised. But now was not the time to dwell on such matters-now was the time to fight! And so he did, Bob started by yelling a battle-cry as he swung a solid left jab at Bill, who was a few feet away from them. Follow the punch came a boulder-smashing Kick to Bills chest area delivered by Bob's right leg!

Billy stared at Bob, the desert seeming to not phase him. Billy was too focused on his rematch with Bob, for after the humiliating defeat Bob had given him a few weeks ago, Billy could not sleep at night! It was time to act, the time for revenge. Billy got into is Battle stance before Bob, ready for battle under the hot sun at any time.

"Heh, good luck to you! Your gonna need it."

Pfft. Bob was underestimating Billy, who did not reply, wanting the battle to be neutral talk-wise. And the first attack was predictable, Billy stuck an arm near his the side of his head to block the punch. No sweat, not even a tingle! But he was no prepared for the kick, which hit him right in the side and forced him to open his mouth wincing in pain.

But Billy soon recuperated, shaking off the pain. I have to focus! He thought over and over again, but could he really win? No, don't think negatively, just think of his bloody body on the desert sand! The vultures will have a feast today! He rushed at Bob with both hands by his waist, releasing them in a flurry of three punches all aimed at Bob's mid-section!

Total Possible Damage: 150(3 punches and a rebound block)
-Punches, 25 for each
-Block back-fire: 75 damage

Gah im not getting it so much can you explain it a little more because im working on my post for the fight and i need some explanation

at the end of your post, you have to put this:

Damage Taken:

And list how much damage you've taken.

Lets say you are hit with 2 punches both dealing 25 damage, then you'd right:
Damage Taken: 50(2 Punches, 25 damage each)
If you blocked your total damage would be lower, like this:
2 punches deal 25 damage each
Blocked one with 10 extra damage
Damage Taken: 35(1 Punch 25 damage, 1 Blocked punch 10 damage)

NEXT PART:

Total Possible Damage Dealt:

Lets say you preform 2 punches that each do 50 damage, then you'd right:
Total Possible Damage Dealt: 100(2 punches, 50 damage each)
